After graduating in screenplay writing & direction from Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Manu learnt the ropes with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the magnum opus 'Devdas' (2002). He has walked different terrains since, working in Films, TV, Radio, OTT, corporates & documentaries
Manu Has written shows like Prayashchit, Savdhaan India, Epic IQ Challenge, Kisko Milega Cash, Raina Beeti Jaye-Jashn, Lights Camera Kissey, Weeklypedia etc. besides directing corporate films for clients like Tech Mahindra foundation, BMW Motors, Barclays Bank, Larsen & Toubro Infotech & many more. He has also produced hundreds of Ads/jingles for Big FM, been a Creative Head for ‘Amber Dhara’, a prime time Sony show, worked as a Sr. Producer with Reliance Big Broadcasting and penned songs & poetry for films and albums along the journey.
A brooding cinematographer and a patient producer, Susheel believes in minimalism, be it lights or words. Thus his one-liners are as effective as the images he creates.
After graduating in Cinematography from Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute in 2006, Susheel worked on numerous features & commercials, assisting DOP’s such as Barun Mukherjee, K.U. Mohanan and Kamal Negi. Soon he graduated to a 2nd unit cameraman, shooting films like ‘Piku’, ‘Madras Café’, ‘Bhoothnath Returns’, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ and the under-production ‘Shershah’.
As a cinematographer Susheel has left his distinct imprint on the acclaimed short ‘Nooreh’, which was the opening film of Indian Panaroma at IFFI 2019, besides winning best film honours at Busan & Stuttgart international film festivals. In the last decade or so Susheel has shot many commercials, TV shows, promotional videos, documentaries & corporate films.
An endless storyteller, a restless director, a keen cinematographer and a noisy creative producer, Digant likes to wear many hats and cover his ‘bald’ secrets.
Starting under the tutelage of a maestro like Ashok Mehta, Digant soon branched out as an independent cinematographer. As DOP, some of his notable works for television are Begusarai for &TV, Manmarziyan for Star TV and Raina Beeti Jaye – Jashn for Sony MIX. After shooting numerous corporate films for brands like Tata Motors, Vodafone & Videocon, Digant graduated into direction.
‘Gadho’ his debut short film is an illustration of his distinct visual style and earthen roots. The film has travelled to more than 20 international film festivals including Busan & Athens. Over the years Digant has directed many ads/corporates & CSR films for clients like Tata Steel Foundation, Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, IL & FS Education, Art India Jewelry and many more.
Digant is currently working on his maiden feature film and a series of shorts.
The voice of reason, the Zen editor & post-producer who carries his head on his shoulders through it all. He finds a way through the maze, cuts the chase and brings everyone to the point… just the way he finds a film from infinite hours of jumbled material.
After working for years with Star TV Network, Tushar started out as an independent editor & post producer. Over the years Tushar has edited more than 20 Documentaries, features and shorts including international award winning films like ‘Liv & Ingmar’ (2012), ‘Let the Scream Be Heard’ (2013), ‘The Path of Zarathustra’ (2015) & ‘Wars Don’t End’ (2018), besides editing & supervising hundreds of episodes of TV shows, promotional campaigns & music videos. Some of the successful TV shows edited by him are Raina Beeti Jaye – Jashn for Sony MIX, Super Singer, Nach Baliye, Voice of India & Zara Nachke Dikha for Star, Weeklypedia for 9XM, Northern Flavors, Curries Of India & Food Memoirs for Living Foods.
Tushar is currently busy with the post production of a few documentaries including the Norwegian production ‘Beyond the Persona’, Indo/UK co-production ‘The Thin Green Line’ and the UK production ‘In The Name Of the Father’.
